Mods

Everything in Coldshift is a pack: the areas and their roads, the cars, the radio. These are extra ones to add, free.

Install them in the game

    Open Settings, then Packs.

    Under From the web, type this address and choose Look:

    https://coldshift.racing/packs/index.json

    Every pack here is listed: choose Install. When a pack has a newer version, it says Update.

The game checks every pack before it goes in: each download must match its checksum, and a pack holds only pictures, sounds and its own data files, never code. A pack you made yourself is never replaced by one from here.

    Fast Furries

    A radio station of street-race songs about Coldshift, with words: We Set the Code, Too Fast, the Furriest, Foot on the Gas and They Said I Couldn't. It comes on with the car radio's other stations.

Make your own

In Settings, Packs, any pack (the game's own too) has Make a copy: an editable copy that, switched on, takes the original's place. Change it, then Export it as a zip; on a computer, Import a pack… brings a zip in.

In a link race, a road or car from your pack goes over the link to whoever is missing it, so friends can race it with you straight away.

On a computer

Download a pack's zip and choose Import a pack… in Settings, Packs; or put the unzipped folder in the game's packs folder (Open the packs folder, beside it).
